Our photoshoot started like this.

And quickly turned into this.

But, Rose had a lot to say...

"I'm a diva, dahling!"

"My Poppy is a tall dude."

"What the hell do you want from me?? You people don't pay me enough!"

"I'm daydreaming about binkies."

"It's time to put on my dancing shoes!"

"Tell my agent to call me back. I'm in the middle of a shoot."

"You're paying me HOW MUCH?!"

"I'm a little shy sometimes."

"Here's my friend, Mr. Bear."

"I'm 1 month old already! Can you believe it?"

That's Rose and I on Mother's Day. I think the bottom picture pretty much sums up how she feels about me and all of my baby talk I do to her.

My aunt and cousin made a stop by our house yesterday. It was great to see them! Rose, like always, pretty much slept through the whole encounter, but at least she was there in body and spirit. Gotta love one month olds.


Here is pretty much what Rose loves to do the most. Isn't she so freaking adorable?! Sometimes I have to make myself stop staring. It's hard not to spend hours doing it.


I absolutely love my life.

4 weeks!

She's almost a month old! ::grabs kleenex:: Before we know it, she'll be 16 and getting her license. ::tear:: I don't want to think about it.


Above are pics from yesterday. We went to my parents' house to celebrate my Grandma Hoefling's birthday. She and my grandpa love Rose. :)

Countdown until we go to Indy - two weeks! I can't wait! Rose is excited to meet her other great grandparents and family!

3 weeks, 4 days!

Houston, we have smiles! She started doing this yesterday or the day before (can't remember), but this morning, she started smiling everytime her Daddy kissed her on the nose. This smile was in her sleep, though, so it's likely she's gassy, haha. Also, included, is a pic of our living room on any given day of the week. For a 3 week old, she sure has a lot to play with!

Also included is a video of Rose holding her head up! Everyday she's holding it up for longer periods of time!

3 weeks, 3 days!

Rose and I went to visit Great Grandma Anderson this afternoon. Of course, she slept the whole time we were there and then was wide awake as soon as we got home, but at least she got to visit.
